The lawmaker, in a letter to the clerk dated August 16 signed by her lawyer, Olayiwola Afolabi, stated that Oshiomhole had in a letter he personally signed on June 19, 2016, given the vehicles to her in acknowledgement of the sacrifices she was expected to make for the peace, security and well-being of the state. She stated that Adjoto, who was then the chief whip, led the delegation of the House to the executive arm of government where the decision to give her the vehicles was taken and implemented. Rodrigo Alves has hit the headlines over the years for having a multitude of plastic surgery procedures in a bid to look like a human Ken doll.
The former flight attendant went under the knife for the 50th time earlier this year but is now set to have his 51st operation.
It will be his 10th on his nose and this time he is attempting to correct his breathing.
He told the MailOnline: “I don’t want to have another nose operation, but I have no choice.
“I wanted to look better, but now I can’t breathe at all. So it has been hard to deal with. It is going to be very painful and risky.”
Doctors have apparently warned that his nose could fall off if it is operated on again but he is still going ahead with the procedure rather than go into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
A source told OK!: “Roddy was supposed to enter the house in 2018, but then things got moved around and he was scheduled to join the next series starting in August.
“But now, he’s decided to go off around the world and party for a month and also get some more surgery on his nose which he has wanted for a very long time.”

14-month-old boy accidentally locks himself in his mother's car, laughs as firefighters try to free him
14-month-old Brandon Emery was recently rescued by firefighters from a locked car while he watched from the driver's seat laughing after accidentally locking himself inside. His mother, Kirsty Green said she had been grocery shopping with him and had just unloaded the groceries into the boot of her car when he managed to trap himself.
'He'd been in the little child seat of the shopping trolley but it didn't have any straps, so he kept trying to stand up while I was shopping. I decided to put him in the back of the car while I was unloading the shopping so he didn't keep trying to stand up in the trolley,' she said.
Kristy said she had absent-mindedly placed her car keys in the boot while she was loading the car, and realised she had forgotten to pick them up when her son pushed down the central locks inside the car.
'I was a bit panicky at first, wondering how I was going to get him out, but luckily a few other shoppers quickly came to help me out, and one lady working phoned 101. It wasn't a particularly hot or sunny day so once I knew the rescue crews were on the way I knew he'd be fine.'The members of the rescue team confirmed that the 14-month-old boy was 'quickly' released from the car and returned to his mother uninjured.

He was said to be on his way to his elder brother's house in the Gana area of Sapele when he was arrested. He was detained and reportedly beaten up by the police officers in the state.
Yesterday while in detention, he slumped and died. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors certified him dead. His remains has been deposited at the Central Hospital Mortuary in Sapele.

New details have emerged on the circumstances surrounding his death. According to eyewitnesses from the community, the deceased usually spray insecticides on his farm for protection. After the cut is a slightly different account of the incident:
"The herdsmen earlier warned him to stop using the insecticides because it kills their cattle should in case their cattle graze the cassava. But the deceased needed to protect his crops against insects and pests.
"As at 3pm, Monday 24th, lreport has it that all Hausas in Abraka were fully armed to the teeth to the full view of everyone even the military.
"In the recent past, each time Solo Ejor's mother go to her farm, the Fulani heardsmen will warn her not to come back to the farm.
"She was said to have gone to the farm on this said day to cultivate her cassava for the days market sales, because that is the only way for her to survive.
"While working in the farm, the Fulani herdsmen appeared suddenly with guns, battle axes and other dangerous weapons and started pursuing the old woman. She used her wisdom as her strength can not help her to outrun the rampaging herdsmen by hiding somewhere.
"When the Abokis could not catch her but continued the search, she managed to call the son, Solo Ejor. Ejor went to the farm to search and rescue his lovely mother to safety before the dangerous herdsmen pounced on her but unfortunately he was killed during the process.
The mother of the deceased is still alive. She has been taken to her village, Ogbeje-Urhuoka."

Wife arrested for chopping off husband's penis with a scissors because she was tired of his womanizing
Mark was roused from sleep by the pain after Liezel grabbed his manhood and sliced it off two inches from the base. The incident happened at about 10:30 pm on April 22 and Liezel fled the scene immediately her mission was complete.
As blood gushed from Mark's wound, his friends took him to the Jesus Colmenares Memorial Hospital in the Balasan Town district, several miles away. They told the police that the couple who have three children argued often.
Mark was later transferred to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Iloilo City where surgeons attempted unsuccessfully to reattach his penis. Physicians said that because the major nerve had already been severed there was little they could do. Tissue from the part cut off had also already died.
Police later arrested Liezel and she told them that she had no regrets about her action.
"I don't regret cutting off his penis. It's his punishment for being a womanizer. I am ready to face the consequences of my action," she said. "I am tired of his womanizing. He got a new girlfriend lately."
Investigator Alexis Bataga from the Carles Police said that Mark wanted to press charges against his wife. He said officers were investigating the incident and have remanded Liezel in custody.
He added: "We could not yet ascertain what drove her to harm her husband. The last time I talked to his family, they told me that he was recovering."

We need to sit down and ask ourselves what we really need to do to fix education in this country. We cannot continue to watch things get this bad. Any laws we need to amend or any law we need to introduce, we need to address that,” he said

Trailer crushes Okada rider in Lagos
The rider of a motorcycle, popularly called okada, has died after he was crushed by a trailer today at Isolo, Lagos. The accident, which led to the death of Biliaminu Olayiwola, occurred this morning at the Daleko bridge in Isolo.
The General Manager, Lagos Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Adesina Tiamiyu, confirmed the incident, saying that the agency received a distress call at about 9.19 a.m. concerning an accident at Daleko Bridge inward Isolo, which prompted the immediate activation of the Agency’s Emergency Response Team, ERT to the scene of the accident accordingly. Tiamiyu said the trailer was moved off the road to a safer place using a tow truck provided by LASTMA.
He said:
"Investigation conducted by the Agency’s ERT on getting to the scene of the incident revealed that a bike man was crushed under a trailer while trying to make a u-turn. The driver of the trailer absconded immediately the accident occurred but was later apprehended by Police officers and was taken to Olosan Police Station, Mushin for further interrogation. Unfortunately, the driver of the bike identified as Biliaminu Olayiwola lost his life due to the incident and was recovered by the LASEMA’s response team and was later handed over to the Police.
"The agency’s ERT with NSCDC attached alongside LASAMBUS, LASTMA, Lagos State Fire Service from Isolo station, Nigeria Police Force and FRSC were the responders at the scene of the incident," he added.He advised motorist and okada riders to always ensure utmost safety while on the highway to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.

US Immigration arrest Nigerian, 94 foreign nationals in 5-day operation targeting criminals, fugitive
Federal officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) arrested 95 criminal aliens including a Nigerian national arrested throughout southeast Texas during a five-day enforcement action, which ended Friday, April 21.
The operation began April 17 and Houston ERO officers made arrests in the following Texas counties: Brazoria (7), Ft. Bend (2), Galveston (4), Harris (59), Liberty (3), Matagorda (4), Montgomery (13), and Wharton (3).
According to ICE and ERO officers, of those arrested, 87 were men and eight were women. All the foreign nationals targeted during this enforcement action had prior criminal convictions.
The majority of those arrested - 82 of the 95 - had criminal histories that included convictions for the following crimes: homicide, aggravated assault, assault, burglary of a vehicle, child abuse, domestic violence, cocaine possession, fraud, driving under the influence, drug trafficking, felony marijuana possession, illegal entry, larceny, possessing a controlled substance, and weapons possession.
Individuals arrested during this operation are from the following countries: Cambodia (1), Cuba (1), El Salvador (8), Guatemala (3), Honduras (11), Mexico (66), Nicaragua (2), Nigeria (1) and Vietnam (2).
Following are criminal summaries of five arrested during this operation:
"This operation was focused on fugitives and criminal aliens," said Patrick Contreras, field office director of the ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations office in Houston. "Public safety remains a top priory for ICE. This was a focused four-day operation, but our routine operations occur daily."
All of the targets in this operation were subject to arrest and removal under the Immigration and Nationality Act, ICE officials said.

Twitter users ridicule John Terry's mum after she was mistaken for a lookalike prostitute in a viral sex video
Twitter users have taken to the social media platform to ridicule Sue Terry ( pictured left), the mother of Chelsea captain and footballer, John Terry after a video circulated online showing a woman who's a spitting image of Sue engaging in a sex act - and the video had the hashtag 'John Terry's mum'.
According to reports , the video was so convincing that even John Terry had called his mum last night after some of his teammates shared the video and were laughing among themselves. It turned out that the woman in the video wasn't actually Sue, it was a prostitute named Lisa who works for 32FF and Holiday Inn in Borehamwood, Herts .
Lisa, who charges £150 an hour or £50 for a 15-minute quickie attacked the media after the footage was leaked online.
“It’s pathetic really, very sad and tragic people have to do these things. It’s absolutely nothing to do with me.' she ranted“Some guy has put it on Twitter. I found out because a client texted me.“That’s me in the film. I haven’t done anything wrong. It’s not John Terry’s mum obviously is it? If I can help her I wilI. I go all over the country. I’m just an ordinary person who does a good job. That’s it.”
Twitter users however attacked John Terry's mum, with some even claiming she was performing the sex act on Wayne Bridge (Terry's former National team mate) as payback, after allegations in 2010 emerged, claiming John Terry got Wayne Bridge's girlfriend pregnant and then arranged for an abortion.
