Man arrested for stealing a whole house

A man named Nyan Tun AKA Kalapu, has been arrested in Yangon, Myanmar for stealing a whole house. According to members of the community, the theft may be related to an ownership dispute between Kalapu and the house owner, Han Win Aung.
Police officer Maung Maung Oo told local newspaper, Eleven, that the home had recently been bought by a man named Han Win Aung from Thanlyin, but it seemed that the person who sold the home t him may not have been the real owner of the house. Maung Oo said:
“He bought the house for K1 million, but the actual price of the house was K5 million. We are now investigating the case, and we know that Nyan Tun had at least one accomplice”.
Witnesses said they saw at least one person taking the house apart and taking it away in  a car.

After his arrest, the South Dagon police station filed charges against Kalapu for theft. It is unclear if the house can be put together again.
